Many schools are planning Summer Schools to support Learning Recovery.
Here are three quick ideas to show how SAM Learning can help:
1. Create 'Wave 2' Groups of Learners
Making a group e.g. 'Y10 Maths Summer' will let you target work to your catch-up class, as well as reviewing their progress.
2. Use QLA to Find Gaps
Before the Summer School (or on the first day), use Question Level Analysis on a task to diagnose problems - and find learning gaps to focus on.
3. Set Online Tasks throughout
SAM Learning Activities give your learners practice on the topics you cover - providing instant feedback for them, as well as marking them for you - and providing valuable diagnostic information.
(Administrative Warning - we carry out our 'Academic Year Shift' in the last week of August, to get set up for the start of the new year. Please be sure to have set all tasks to complete before then.)
