The use of groups in SAM Learning is flexible and powerful.
From the groups tab, you can work in all three Intervention Waves:
Wave 1: Classroom Differentiation
Identify sub-groups of learners to set work to - and then monitor their progress.
e.g. Focus in on your Pupil Premium learners; make a group of your underachievers in a class to set extra tasks for.
Wave 2: School Intervention
Create groups across cohorts... or the whole school. Set them extra tasks and see how well they respond.
e.g. Make a groups of Year 11 learners who performed badly in their Year 10 examinations; Create groups of your SATs "Under 100" learners to set Literacy or Numeracy intervention tasks for.
Wave 3: Individual Learners
Identify the learners who need bespoke learning plans set up for them.
e.g. Pupils who can't access lessons on-site (inc. B-code); learners who miss a lesson every week due to an extra-curricular or vocational activity.
