In the event of a "no deal" Brexit, you may wish to confirm data processing arrangements with us.
This page summarises our approach:
SAM Learning data is held at an Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centre based in the Republic of Ireland.
We do not intend to move the data to a UK data centre prior to 31 October 2019 or in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
The UK government has confirmed that all EEA countries are 'adequate' for the purposes of personal data flows and that additional safeguards are not required.
The UK government has also confirmed that it recognises Standard Contractual Clauses as providing an appropriate safeguard for international transfers. These are part of SAM Learning's agreement with AWS.
In the event of a no-deal Brexit, this will allow us to continue data processing using the current arrangements with no interruption of service. We do not anticipate any changes to contractual or subscription costs.
