SAM Learning and MirandaNet have formed a CPD partnership to help school leaders and school teachers to focus on improving classroom practice in order to help pupils do the best they possibly can.
We are offering a programme for professional development for leaders and teachers using the Targeted Intervention framework designed by SAM Learning. Participants in the Targeted Intervention framework will collaborate as co-researchers with MirandaNet resources to identify new methods for tackling and addressing areas for improvement. Using a variety of methods, they will analyse the data to explore how practice can be adjusted to gain better results.
With expert support from Miranda Fellows, participants will write up their findings. Online video introductions to these articles are encouraged, as well as presentations to share with other teachers. The studies will be published in the MirandaNet Knowledge Hub with a reflection by Professor Christina Preston about what has been discovered collaboratively by the participants of the Targeted Intervention framework.
The participants will receive a MirandaNet Fellowship indicating to OFSTED that the school is research active. The resulting articles can be used by the school to inform policy and practice and for marketing purposes.
