It has historically been the case that we have had two distinct types of account in SAM Learning:
- Teacher - can set tasks, reset learner passwords, review progress etc...
- Administrators - can reset teacher passwords, overview teacher logins and upload learner data - but not set tasks
This has required Senior Leaders who need Admin rights, but also need to set tasks, to have two accounts.
We are working to improve this, in two stages:
1. Admins can now set tasks (the blue tick boxes on the Set Tasks tab are now available).
2. We plan to soon allow for Admins also to identify their classes on the Profile Tab, to speed up the task setting process. This should be in place before September 2020.
If you no longer need SAM Learning Administrator rights, please speak to your School's SAM Learning Coordinator who can either declare your account inactive or change it to a teacher level account.
